Have you ever found yourself sitting in front of your computer, looking at Facebook, Twitter or another social networking site and as you typed thought something along the lines of “am I doing it right?” or “is what I’m writing going to bring me in more business?”.

Well today I spent most of the day learning the answers to these very questions and much more besides.

The subjects covered in the Social Media workshop I attended today covered, in no particular order; the history of the internet as we know it, the top 10 rules of selling, the ideal marketing mission, branding online, the three C’s (bet you want to know what they are!), long tail marketing and a short and sharp guide to SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), plus lots more… I have over 30 pages of notes!

For me this was a great day out. I love learning new things, especially when it helps both my own business and also enables me to help my customers too. I know the importance of expanding my own knowledge and skill set and make sure that I regularly ‘top up’ with useful information that can help me help you.
