The Holistic Directory Ltd

Launched in March 2012, The Holistic Directory is the fastest-growing directory of holistic services in the UK, helping you find the best holistic treatment providers in your area. A holistic approach involves looking at the entirety of a situation and working to find a lasting solution that takes into account the causes of the problem. Holistic therapies cover an extremely broad spectrum – from physiotherapy to healing, counselling to homeopathy – and the Holistic Directory aims to give the public an easy way to find the type of therapy that could benefit them. There is an extensive diary full of holistic events happening all over the UK, and the world, and it also offers an impressive library of articles by practitioners. For therapists and holistic businesses, the Holistic Directory offers a space to promote their business, publish articles, promote offers, promote events and so much more. It’s not just another advertising directory. It’s about working together, learning, sharing, connecting and spreading the holistic message and we are on hand to support our members in their journey to a more profitable business. We strive to provide useful information and support to enable business owners to promote their business, educate themselves and get seen online.

MyNorfolkGuide.co.uk

This is an online directory and guide to Norfolk that I launched in 2007 when I first began designing, producing and distributing the town guides I have worked on over the years for Burnham Market and Holt. This has been, and still is, a great place to direct people to find out more about Norfolk and what is happening locally and also a place for businesses to promote themselves.

The Wayland Show is a wonderful one day agricultural show, one of the oldest in the country, held the first Sunday in August each year. It’s a lovely day out for the whole family.

Ladies Network

I first started Ladies Network in 2007 when I saw a niche in Norfolk for networking for women. At that time there was not much happening in Norfolk with this, apart from a few smaller groups with a more ‘crafty/creative’ feel. Having launched the Fakenham BNI group in 2004 and been in it for 3 years by this time, I was keen to be part of something with more of a business feel and yet with the extra support you get from being in a group of women. It morphed over the years, I ran some networking meetings, put on some pamper events and then I got super busy with other things and, as there were now many other womens groups started up in the area, I left it on the back burner for a while. In 2013, the national Women’s Business Clubs group, I was a member of in King’s Lynn, went bust, leaving our group with a decision to make. I offered Ladies Network as a solution and thus we launched a new website, tidied up our T&Cs, I created some printed and digital literature and an official Ladies Network group was born. We meet monthly at Congham Hall and I help with design and print and also built and manage the website. If you’re a woman in business and you would like to join us at one of our upcoming meetings, please do get in touch.
